What clothing items should I list on eBay instead of selling live?
When I made this video in February 2025, I was listing Lululemon jackets, Ariat, Vuori, L.L.Bean shackets, Ermenegildo Zegna, Patagonia, men’s 7 For All Mankind jeans, Miraclesuit, Max Mara, and bigger-size Judy Blue. February sales included Ariat $40, Vuori $40, and L.L.Bean $30 plus shipping. The rule: identify the exact model first.

When I made this video on Feb. 19, 2025, I had just restarted my eBay store after taking a break to build out live selling. The point was simple: list about 10 good items a day, keep Whatnot moving for fast cash, and let eBay bring in higher sales while I was sleeping.
These prices and sell-through notes are from that upload window in February 2025. Don’t treat them as today’s comps. Treat them as the kind of sourcing filter I was using: better brands, bigger sizes, exact model names, and items that made sense for eBay instead of a quick live auction.
The eBay reset: 10 listings a day
The reset was about consistency, not dumping hundreds of listings at once. I had been off eBay for about three months, so I started back with roughly 10 listings a day for about 5 days and watched the traction come back.
At the same time, Whatnot was still the main engine in my business. In the video, we were at about $48,000 in Whatnot sales over the previous 28 days, and I was trying to add another possible $10,000 in sales from eBay. That was the whole idea: live selling for fast movement, eBay for the better long-tail pieces.
I also showed that the store was up over 300%, but I said the important part out loud: that number sounds wild because I had not been listing. If you go from doing almost nothing to listing daily, the percentage can look huge. The real lesson was that consistent listing brought impressions, offers, and sales back.

What sold right after I started listing again?
The first sales proved that some items were better on eBay than in a live show. A couple pieces had already failed to sell on Whatnot at low starting prices, then sold on eBay within a day or two.
That is one of my favorite parts of using both platforms. If the live audience does not want an item for $7, that does not mean the item is bad. It might just need the right keywords, model name, size, and buyer.

The Ariat sale was the cleanest example. I had run that vest on Whatnot for seven bucks and nobody bought it. Once I looked it up and saw it was the Vernon 2.0 soft shell vest, I realized it belonged on eBay. It sold for $40 plus shipping in one day.
Lululemon pieces I wanted on eBay
For Lululemon, I was not listing every single piece on eBay. I was mainly picking jackets, defined jackets, scuba styles, dresses, sweaters, men’s pieces, ABC pants, and stronger women’s items.
I had ordered around 40 Lululemon jackets and similar pieces, and most were in excellent or like-new condition. In February 2025, I expected many of those jackets to land somewhere around $30 to $60 depending on style, size, and exact model.
The size rule mattered too. For women’s Lululemon, I said I usually wanted size 4, 6, or 8 as the lowest sizes I would mess with on eBay. Bigger or more wanted styles gave me more confidence. For men’s Lululemon, I was more excited because the pants, sweaters, and jackets had been performing better for me.

My biggest Lululemon tip in that video was to look up the model and put the model name in the title. You can get a higher price and a better chance of selling if the buyer can find the exact thing they already want.
Men’s jeans I liked for eBay
Men’s jeans were one of the categories I was happy to put on eBay. I said I wish I could sell nothing but jeans, especially when the brand, size, and condition are right.
7 For All Mankind men’s jeans were a good example. The retail can be around $150 to $200, and I expected many of the men’s pairs to bring about $20 to $25 on eBay. I was listing around $29.95 and staying realistic if a buyer sent an offer.

This is where business model matters. Paige, AGOLDE, Everlane, Good American, and other denim could sell, but I did not automatically put all of it on eBay. A lot of it went to Whatnot because I could turn the money faster.
Ermenegildo Zegna and higher-dollar menswear
Ermenegildo Zegna was one of the better menswear brands in the video. I had blazers, pants, shirts, a merino wool quarter zip, and a Zegna Sport vest, and I said there had not been much in that brand that was truly terrible for me.
For the blazers, I expected roughly $50 to $100 depending on size, material, and condition. I mentioned wool and silk as details to check. On shirts, I was thinking about $30 to $50 depending on the piece. On the merino wool quarter zip, I was thinking $50 to $75, but I still needed to do the research.

I also mentioned the ties. If you can find Zegna ties, those can perform well too. The bigger lesson is that a strong menswear brand can show up in several categories, and it is worth checking each one instead of assuming only blazers are good.
Spring and summer items I was listing early
I was already thinking about spring and summer in February. That meant shorts, linen, dresses, swimwear, and lighter pieces started getting more attention.
Kuhl cargo shorts were one of the simple examples. I said the sell-through had dropped over the years, but Kuhl was still a good foundational brand. For the size 36 cargo shorts, I expected about $20 to $25 and was fine waiting for spring.

This is one of those boring reseller moves that works. You do not wait until everyone is buying shorts to source shorts. You start getting them listed early so they are already indexed and ready when demand picks up.
Bigger-ticket pieces I wanted on eBay
The higher-ticket pieces were the reason I still wanted eBay running alongside live selling. Some items just need the bigger buyer pool and the searchable listing.
Max Mara was the best example in the video. I showed a cashmere wool trench coat, said sold comps went up to $400, and listed mine at $299 because I wanted to move it quickly. I also said plainly: if you do not know Max Mara, put it on your brand list.

Not everything expensive-looking is an automatic home run, but this is the lane where eBay makes sense. A Max Mara coat, a Zegna blazer, or a specific Patagonia piece does not need to be rushed through a $1 sudden-death auction unless that is your strategy.
What I sent to Whatnot instead
A lot of good inventory still went to Whatnot because speed matters. In the video, I said about 95% of incoming product was still going to live shows, while a smaller percentage went to eBay.
That balance is important. Judy Blue jeans might bring $20 to $30 on eBay, but if I can get $12 to $15 on Whatnot and I paid $5 to $7, I may take the faster money. Same with some Paige, AGOLDE, Good American, Everlane, Hudson, and The North Face pieces.
I was not saying those brands are bad for eBay. I was saying you have to know your own business model. If an item is common, smaller-sized, or better for fast turnover, I am probably sending it to the live pile. If it has a specific model, bigger size, better average sale price, or a buyer who will search for it, I am more likely to list it on eBay.
The listing details that changed the price
The most important listing detail was the exact model name. I called this out for L.L.Bean, Patagonia, Vuori, and Lululemon because the right item ID or model name can change how fast it sells and what someone pays.
On L.L.Bean, I showed the item ID and said to look it up. That is how you turn a generic “flannel shirt” into a hurricane flannel or shacket listing. Same with Vuori performance joggers, Ariat Vernon 2.0, Lululemon models, and Patagonia styles.

I thought we could do a video going over the items that I'm currently going to be listing on eBay in hopes to help you level up some of the brands that you could go out and find sourcing we're going to be going over probably about 50 Brands what I think I could sell them for average sellr rates average sale price um just really wanting to help you on the other end level up your reselling business we've been listing about 10 a day on eBay for the last 5 days we've had a few sales come in and now we're trying to double down and trying to just pick the best items possible as we have about 1,500 to 2500 items coming in every week so we're really trying to focus on items like this Patagonia better sweater vest this is a men's extra large typically could sell between $25 and $30 and it has a decent
sell through rate right now on eBay so that's one of the items I ordered about 40 Lululemon jackets defined jackets scubas different styles different sizes so I'll just go through them quickly here um we got one there we got one here I probably won't go through all 40 but these should sell basically between I would say 30 to 60 just depending on the style and size all these are in excellent condition so we've been ordering a lot more Lululemon we run a Lululemon show exclusively on whatnot um usually about two to three times per week um so we are buying a lot of Lululemon all these are amazing jackets really nice condition in like new condition so these are all going to go on eBay really nice really thick heavy this is a really sweet one right here that's a nice one Lululemon um I only list certain things from Lululemon on eBay um you
know a lot of the men's lululemon does pretty well um ABC pants um jackets of course sweaters um women's not so much if it's just a a jacket or a dress does pretty well on eBay um that's what I'm going to stick with and then again trying to stick with bigger sizes like four six and eight that's like the lowest I'll go when listing on eBay but yeah these are all in excellent condition really nice Lululemon jackets we'll just skip forward here um and get to what else we got oh I got a I got this one's really nice this's a Lululemon down vest Lululemon down vest that's nice that's pretty nice they go on eBay probably about $30 maybe less um another lemon jacket so those are all going to go on eBay uh we just got that shipment in of course cool is always just a good foundational brand of course the sthy
rate has dropped over the years but cool is an amazing brand these are some nice uh cargo shorts not going to make a ton of money but I am prepping for the spring and summer months right now and trying to double down on shorts so these I'd probably list for between 20 and $25 and expect for them to sell in the spring um cool cool and it's a great size so size 36 here are some Lululemon women's pants um don't know the model on these I'll have to do some more research but these should perform okay probably about $25 on eBay right there here's a really nice Lululemon cardigan it's got like that knit texture knit material really nice really nice Lululemon it's got the little metal Lulu logo wow fancy um this is a great size too I'd probably sell this between $ 20 and $30 on eBay let's open a wholesale box we
got one right here so I thought we could do a little work um give you my thoughts on what I think these could sell for on eBay um and then just go from there I'm looking to turn eBay into like more of nice like a nice little side business a nice little side hustle in addition to our whatnot we just hit $48,000 in sales in the last 28 days on whatnot but we're trying to add in an extra maybe $10,000 in sales with the addition of eBay um and of course we're growing our whatnot team as well so it's been a beautiful thing I think if you can keep your eBay business separate from your whatnot business they're a beautiful like combination you know like if you can list specific items for long-term return on investment on eBay and make the quick money on whatnot with some bread and butter items I think that's a
great like onew punch I mean of course you could list or put the amazing stuff on whatnot um as well um but if you're really trying to just have like an an extra additional income I think putting those on eBay to make some extra money you know like make money while you're sleeping because you're not making money if you're not streaming right if you're not live streaming on whatnot you're not getting paid so it's nice to have you know some sales come in when you're eating dinner and you're sleeping and you could wake up to a couple 50 to $80 sales that's a nice thing that's a nice thing right so um we had to take a break on eBay for a couple months while we got the whatnot set up and now we are just looking to you know 10 listings a day keep it nice steady um I think that's a nice comfortable
pace so here's some things we'll go through and then I'll just give you my thoughts here's some Judy Blue Jeans these do really well on eBay probably about 20 to $30 but on whatnot I probably could get 12 to 15 and if I'm buying them from 5 to 7 I'd rather take like the F faster money in that case um so a goldi a goldi is a really good brand actually performs really well on whatnot so those will go on whatnot as well um this is from one of my wholesalers all the wholesalers put uh the list of what they oh just like a manifest of what they've sent and we kind of just check for defects and cross anything off that might be flawed or anything like that um this is I won't say their name but this is from Maryland wow all right I think couldn't read it are you a reseller looking

be good for your business model um this is Seven For All Mankind women's those are going to go on what not we got seven For All Mankind the straight these are a men's buttonfly whatnot or those are eBay eBay these are all jeans Seven For All Mankind men's again it's a good brand those jeans retail for like $150 to $200 this crazy all right we got Paige size 28 excellent Jean for whatnot probably sell between $10 $122 maybe on I'm just saying on average all right we got another um s For All Mankind of course if you find the dojo jeans that's what you want to be listing on eBay Judy Blue size three Judy Blue size three making sure there's no defects those are manufactured distressed we got more page jeans page jean size 26 I try to stay away from the smaller sizes we got brand new with tags uh America a good
American brand new ATT tags good American $80 retail those are going to go on uh on whatnot good American uh is probably best for the bigger sizes uh to put on eBay Paige women's jean size 28 perfect for whatnot we got a good whatnot stack here I won't go over and bore you with those Brands we'll try to focus on the eBay stuff another page 26 those are going to go on whatnot everlane organic cotton whatnot brand new ATT tags Northface H probably going to put those on eBay actually you know what let's put them on whatnot they're are women's capri um these are brand new Hudson Jeans the Barbara brand new camo Hudson those will go on a whatnot got to have a nice balance for your business with some fast money coming in and then some slower money 3 6 9 12 months um coming in over time I think there's a good
balance everyone has their own way they want to run their own business and I think for the majority of our product coming in like 95% it's all going to get sold on whatnot and there is a certain percentage that's going to get uh put on eBay so brand new good ameran this is a really good brand I mean come on now not cheap either good American $100 retail some nylon caros we'll put those on whatnot and then let's go over to the photo station and I will show you the type of items that we're putting on eBay that I'm going to take photos of here's an example of a typical shipping day on whatnot about 275 orders we just finished a graphic T show then we got an etica denim show right here we did last night and then we got this Lululemon show that was really good one that was all $1 sudden death
had 123 people in the show on a Saturday night appreciate everyone that came to show support that Lulu Lemon show was really fun the thing I love about sudden death is it saves so much time so I love that um two reseller shows here um so yeah we're still getting caught up on the shipping um post office is coming to pick it up but let's set up the tripod and go to the other side of this little maze I'm just I'm not even going to cut this out I don't I don't even care you want it raw and real Rocky wants to say hi he's our guard dog wondering who you're talking yeah he's he wants to know who am I talking to oh there he goes do a backflip nope he's getting older if you can't tell okay so maybe I'll just set it up right here we got the photo station there we
go look at that all right well maybe this is kind of in a weird spot here we go all right so I'll go over what we're putting on eBay today um we got this Lululemon dress dresses perform well in Lululemon just about this time of year right um getting ready for spring and summer this is a great size Lululemon with the built-in um built-in support So Lululemon women's leggings I'm not going to be putting on eBay but like the jackets and things like that definitely so that's a good one um next one is a I believe IR gildo zenya this is a men's Blazer these typically sell for me about $50 to $100 it just depends but you can see IR gildo Zenna depends on the size depends on if it's wool or silk but I would probably list this close to about $70 to $100 I mean the retail price on the this Blazer
is like two three 400 plus so that's a great brand just a good bread and butter another new brand within the last year for me is the brand Crosby I believe this brand is sold on the Tucker Knuck website so it's a really good brand to be on the lookout for I don't think it has a super high sell through rate but the average sale price is about 50 to $75 on eBay next one is this 100% linen rod in gun since I'm gearing up for spring and summer I'm really trying to put more linen and silk into our store it's a 3XL linen Italian fabric really good size probably will sell for about $20 plus shipping we have some more Lululemon items here this is actually a women's pants but they're super wide leg feels like I'm running a whatnot show right now super wide leg really nice hem um I will look up
the model of this I think it's really important that you look up the model and put that name in the title um just I've noticed just higher you could get a higher price in um better sell through rate so we got a Lululemon jacket here's one of them hopefully the lighting is okay but we got a metal Lulu logo right there if it'll even focus there we go um probably 20 $30 on eBay um these are really cool these are like waffle knit waffle knit Lululemon jck ERS I think they are men's comment down below do you know the Lululemon Fanatics probably know easy what this model is but I'll have to look it up these are really nice really nice Lulu joggers we got another IR gildo zenya this is a nice bigger size um probably going to list this between $50 to $100 I just got to look it up so that's a
nice one um Judy Blue and bigger sizes I will probably put on eBay just cuz the bigger sizes do well I'm talking like size 11 13 14 16 18 and 20 so these are some nice Judy Blue probably get about $25 plus shipping on eBay um just sold an LL Bean um shacket very similar to this for $30 on eBay listed uh two days ago two days ago sold um the next day this is a L Bean shacket if you see the item ID right there you're going to want to look that up and put it the name into um your title but that's probably at least 20 $5 on eBay we got a couple pair of ir gildo zenya pants not going to go for like a ton of money but at least $30 to $50 on eBay I got four pairs of these so we got a red pair we got the jeans
IR gildo Zena um the ties if you could find the ties in this brand that those perform well um there's really been nothing in this brand that I found to be like terrible meaning like it never sells and it sold for $4 but it it always sells for pretty decent money um just depends on what it is so those are some white denim jeans here's a irman gildo zenya uh Marino wool performance quarter zip probably going to list this for about $50 to $75 I don't know because I haven't uh doubled down on the research yet I just know that that's going to be a good one we got a Patagonia Cilla extra large I think we all know this is a good item it would go good on whatnot this would probably sell for about $30 to $40 on whatnot so um but I'm going to list it eBay so probably get about $30

it looks big okay so we got a hook fishing 2XL hook hook fishing sorry hook fishing 2XL nice shirt right here probably going to go for about $15 to $20 on eBay another good one we had been running these on whatnot maybe getting 15 $20 for them which is good but Miracle suit eBay especially in this upcoming season these could go for like 40 to 60 and this is a great size Miracle suit shapewear swimsuit great size I think that's a size 16 um Christian Dior I think we all know is a good brand but yeah Christian Dior men's button up probably about $30 to $40 on this one maybe more I don't know but yeah Christian Dior so those are the type of things that we were running on uh on eBay I got to show I got to show you this this is insane this is a 400 $100 Max Mara cashmere wool
trench coat this is insane Max Mara if you don't know this brand put it on your Brands list please Max Mara can you see it Max Mara cashmere wool trench coat I listed it for $2.99 I sold I saw sold comps up to 400 I'm trying to sell it quick um so yeah that's a nice one those are the type of things that we're listing on eBay I want to start making more of the unboxing videos um from what we get in our wholesale to help you grow your eBay business um as we grow ours we're up 300% on eBay oh my goodness because we haven't listed in the last N9 90 days so we're just now getting things listed it's been a beautiful thing let's hop on to the computer and I can show you some of the things that have been selling on eBay all right I'm excited to share with you what
progress we have made in our eBay store like I said we've been listing about 10 a day for about 5 days and just want to keep you up to date we're looking at this from a point of view of a nice little side business a nice little side project to do in addition to our live shows and I want to keep you up to date on the progress so we just I want to show you what has sold um so if we go to our store we're going to go into what has sold and then I'll show you some of the items we've been listing and kind of my thought process behind it so sold items over the last just five days of listing um so if we go to here because we stopped listing for about three months in December um and so here's our last few sales so this arot Vernon vest uh
sold for $40 best offer it's funny we ran this on whatnot for seven bucks no one bought it uh which is totally fine because I looked it up and found out it was the Vernon 2.0 soft shell vest with nearly 100% sell through rate it sold in one for $40 plus shipping so arot is just an amazing brand y'all the jeans the shirts the pro series button-ups they are great so this is a great model to be on the lookout for aot areat whatever you want to call it um but yeah that is a great brand I love finding it um and we don't mind paying up for that one the next one was a Grayson shirt that also didn't sell on whatnot for $7 so I was like let's throw it up on E eBay um listed it for $24.95 I took a best offer of I think 20 bucks I don't even remember
um but it sold for over $20 plus shipping in one day I'm happy with that um turning like five to seven into 20 plus shipping I think it was like five bucks to ship that out as well so uh Grayson U I think for Grayson for me in my business I'm trying to pick up the bigger sizes large extra large 2XL and I want it to have a nice pattern like this so um nice zigzag pattern so that's a nice sale right there um the next day we got an amazing Lands End kind of like a chore coat but not really um really thick heavy wool um women size 16 this had a really good strong sell through rate of believe about 70% um and it was flannel lined beautiful land end you know don't sleep I mean most land end and someone just dry cleaned it too that's what that tag is but Lands
End in certain things um like this wool blend jacket would be something you might want to consider listing sold in a couple days for $30 plus shipping on this one um really nice sale right there um these vori pants you know as much as I love running vori on whatnot and these probably would have sell for $20 $25 on whatnot I listed them on eBay for $44.95 took a best offer of $40 plus shipping and they sold in one day these are called the performance jogger uh women's medium sold in one day viori I think we all know is amazing brand uh and then our most recent sale yesterday was this L Bean hurricane shirt they're more like shets really they're really heavy um took a best offer of $30 plus shipping on this sold in two days um after listing men's 3XL tall blue hurricane flannel and then going back to earlier in the
video you really want to just look up that item ID to make sure what you got same goes for like Patagonia viori lemon really is beneficial to look these up so let's get into some of let's go back to the page our book uh dashboard and you could just see here um you know we're up 300% that doesn't really say much like when you're not doing anything on eBay you could be up thousands of percent but it's just really cool to see the traction and you know we started listing on I think the 14th um which I believe was uh Valentine's Day um 10 you know just 10 a day little little side little do this on the side it's fun and it's really cool to hear that cha-ching coming in again you know it's been really cool because I've been eating dinner or up early in the morning or o uh we're getting ready
to go to bed and we hear the cha-ching and we're like this is great because you know um live selling is amazing it's changed our lives but you don't make money if you're not live selling right so um or you could list things in the whatnot Marketplace but this is really nice to see money trickling in with some of those higher sales I'll show you another cool thing too like the traffic you know just like with all things being consistent is really going to help you can see we started listing here um the 13th actually and then you could see it just has been slowly growing Impressions we promote everything at 10% that's how we're just going to rock and roll with it unless it has like a over 100% sell through rate item but that's really nice it's really fun to be doing this again and I just want to share with you the
